Dominican Republic

  • Thanksgiving for $20,000 that will purchase land for homes for 200 refugee families
  • Wisdom in selecting families to place in new housing
  • Encouragement and strength for our partner organizations: Crossroads Retreat Center, and Maranatha Ministries
  • Favor among local government officials so that all community projects can proceed
  • That families would take ownership of their new home, and that it would be a blessing for them
  • Electricity to be dependably restored to the nation

Liberia

  • The pain of war would be wiped away
  • That basic services would be restored to the nation
  • Wisdom for selecting this years' orphanage projects
  • The children would have food and shelter each day
  • God's compassion would touch those we work around and that they would find hope in Him
  • 70 Orphanage contributors who will give the finances needed for each project
  • Food sponsors who will take on the monthly cost of feeding the children
  • For church teams to take on the sacrifice of coming and making a difference

Sierra Leone

  • King's Children's Home would receive the renovations it needs
  • That local partners and staff would work with integrity and that an atmosphere of trust would grow
  • Corruption even within churches and leaders would end
  • The clinic in Waterloo would be under girded with additional staff
  • The animal husbandry project at King George Home for the Elderly would be a success and bring some extra income into the home
  • That the Christian School would thrive, and that the children would get a good education, enabling them to provide for their families and help their country grow out of the years of devastating war
  • That the pain of war would be wiped away
  • That there would be work available for those who need it
