Playa Dorado (Golden Beach)
This is one of the main tourist attractions of the Puerto Plata area. Located on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, this is a manicured, private tourist beach with a dozen hotels and a total of 250 acres of beautiful tropical accommodations. At times, teams visit the beach and enjoy the water. There are ladies who braid hair, vendors who sell crafts, and tourists soaking up the sun. It is an enjoyable outing...a chance to take advantage of beautiful surroundings on a day away from the worksite.
Sosua Beach
Not quite as manicured as Playa Dorado, but just as enjoyable: This beach is located close to our team accommodations. Some team members have used their day off to go scuba diving from this location. It is a convenient way to enjoy the water without having to travel very far.
