Story: Dump Ministries
We rounded the corner and it was heartrending. In this huge landfill were people…living there. And they were hungry. Garbage trucks come and the strongest of the men jump on and go through garbage before it is dumped. Men strive for scraps of meat! Flies are everywhere… and pigs.
We brought a hot meal of chicken and rice. But first… from out of that filth… singing…and music filled our ears. Those considered the most lowly were worshipping the Most High with US... We clapped with them…our brothers and sisters…there in the garbage…a family reunion. At Sharing International we praise God for YOU who help us bring a difference to such desperation like this dump in the Dominican Republic. Thank You.
