The board of Sharing International met and approved immediate projects to help the children of Haiti….here are two:
There are so many immediate and intermediate needs in Haiti right now. As promised, here is an idea of what Sharing will do to meet these needs now.
Project 1 - Blessing Packs
We are asking all to fill a pack….a Blessing Pack with hygiene/fun items for children who have experienced/seen things we can only image, living under a tent or sheet, likely having lost family members. We need your help in getting these things done …quickly….. that will save lives and give hope to the children who are wounded in ways seen and unseen.
This is an opportunity for all ages…. you can be involved in organizing your neighborhood, church, company , social club; everyone can fill a little Blessing Pack that can positively impact a little one’s life and that of his/her family.

Project 2 - Short-term Teams
There will be more information coming to re-start the sending of well-trained specialized Sharing short-term teams to areas hard hit by poverty and disease long before the earthquake shook Haiti….but now so much worse. These will require strong determined folks with skills (ex. medical & construction) who are desperate to be Jesus’ hands and feet in service to the people of Haiti joined with our Haiti-based partners.
