Liberia Project Information: Sponsor an Orphanage!
The Need
There are many communities where orphaned children have no hope. There isn't much time left for some. Because of war inflicted on a people already in great need, food is scarce and basic needs go unmet.
What Can I Do?
Anyone can do something:
- Pray Even if you have few resources, you can PRAY with us that these children will receive the care they need.
- Share Financially If you are in the position, you could sponsor an orphanage. It takes $50,000 to bring a home for children up to the standard required by other partner organizations who will then be able to offer ongoing aid. MAIL IN FORM I ONLINE GIVING Or you may be able to take on a food sponsorship. For $200 per month, 40 children can receive basic staples like rice, beans, etc.
- Share Your Life Finally you may want to join a future team or bring a team to work on an orphanage. A ten-day trip will cost each team member $1,100 to 1,500 plus airfare. The team fee includes in-country transportation, Sharing/Orphan Relief and Rescue staff leadership, food and lodging, some site seeing. MAIL IN FORM I ONLINE APPLICATION
