Sierra Leone: Security
Our set up staff have worked in Sierra Leone and dozens of other countries in difficult places. Every location is investigated thoroughly from a security standpoint. Since many of our team members are traveling outside of their own country for the first time, our goal is to provide a comfortable and safe environment as our "base of operations." We do not believe that short-term teams are ready for conditions that are extreme from a safety standpoint. All that being said, there are always "unknowns" inherent in mission work. Nevertheless, these accommodations insure a high level of security in the local environment.
The hotel is situated in a walled compound and manned by security around the clock. For a nation emerging from the tragedies of war, this accommodation represents an extreme luxury that most of the local population will never enjoy.
