Outreach Focus
Kampala and Rukungiri, Uganda, East Africa--John and Alice Tumusiime were pastoring a church in SW Uganda when they invited three children into their home for Christmas in 1995.
Many children in East Africa lose both parents to AIDS, leaving thousands orphaned. The three standing on the doorstep were followed by more than 1000! The children now live in dorms and have a school and vocational center to learn job skills. The buildings were constructed by volunteers who bring funds to buy materials. Currently, we are constructing a hall for assembly and chapel, and a new dorm for the girls. Teams show the Jesus Film and speak about God’s love through Christ.
